Terms and Agreement: 
"Conditions of Carriage as prescribed by the regulations 
of the Province of B.C. respecting Motor Carrier Services 
are hereby incorporated by reference and govern 
transportation services performed under the Bill of Lading 
Act."

Argus Carriers reserves the right to refuse the handling of 
any shipment. Argus Carriers also reserves the right to use 
whatever mode of transport it sees fit due to the nature of 
a shipment or when to comply with regulatory agencies.  
Weight is subject to correction.

Declared value in excess of $1000.00 must be cleared with 
Argus Dispatch.  

Limitation of Liability:  
Argus Carriers liability in respect of any one shipment 
shall not exceed $2.00 per pound.  If no value is declared 
on the bill of lading or if a shipment has a declared value 
of in excess of $1000.00 and no prior special agreement has 
been obtained, this shall be deemed to be an agreement that 
the value of goods shipped is $2.00 per pound and Argus 
Carriers shall not be held liable for any damages in excess 
thereof. No liability shall be accepted for any commodity 
which is shipped in containers or crates that are not 
sufficiently insulated from damage due to handling or 
freezing.  Any uncrated or used commodity will be 
Shipped at Shippers Risk and Argus Carriers will hold no 
liability for any damage.

Shipping Charges:  
The Shipper guarantees to pay Argus Carriers any and all 
shipping charges in the event the consignee on a Collect 
shipment or the Third Party on a third party billing shipment, 
refuses to pay for whatever reason.  

Claims:  
No claims shall be accepted after 60 days of Bill of 
Lading date.  
All Tariff charges and applicable surcharges must be paid to 
validate claims.

Extra Insurance:  
The Shipper may insure any one shipment up to a maximum 
valuation of $1000.00 if the valuation of $2.00 per pound is 
the lesser, providing that such request be indicated on the 
Bill of Lading at the time of pick up and the Shipper agrees 
at such time to pay for additional insurance.  

As a representative of the Shipper, Consignee or Third Party 
at hand you agree to accommodate these conditions and agree 
that you will be the only person using your login account. 

All prices and surcharges are subject to change without prior 
notice, and no rate can be guaranteed until after delivery.
